Aladdin Beauty College, 1026 N.W. 38th St. in Lawton is not only preparing students for a new career, they are providing free medical discount cards to students who enroll in their cosmetology school.

LAWTON, AZ, August 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Aladdin Beauty College, 1026 N.W. 38th St. in Lawton is not only preparing students for a new career, they are providing free medical discount cards to students who enroll in their cosmetology school. The company is offering the same card to students in their schools in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida.
The card provides discounts for the following goods and services: vision and Lasik; lab tests; dental; Rx prescriptions; hearing; diabetic supplies, X-ray and imaging and chiropractic. Discounts range from 10% to 80% and apply to participating providers.
"Beauty is important, but maintaining good health is crucial. That is why we want to make sure our students have access to discounts for medical services," said Jessica Wolman, one of the owners of the Lawton cosmetology school. "Whether it is providing some of the most comprehensive training in the state, access to financial aid to those who qualify, or a free medical discount card, we want to help provide our students with the tools they will need to be successful in their lives and their careers."
Aladdin Beauty College offers a program in Cosmetology that includes hair, skincare, make-up and nails, as well as an Instructor course outline for those who want to teach.
The company also owns cosmetology schools throughout the U.S. They include: nine schools in Texas under the names ITS Academy of Beauty College and Aladdin Beauty College; four locations in New Mexico under the Olympian University and Aladdin Beauty College name; Hair Benders Academy in Florida, as well as Aladdin Beuaty College in Lawton.
