Lincoln Opens Exciting New Facility — and Career Opportunities—in Denver

DENVER, CO, September 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Explore Lincoln College of Technology's exciting new Denver campus at its grand opening scheduled for Thursday, September 15, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The new campus is located at 11194 E. 45th Avenue in Denver.

Encompassing more than 200,000 square feet, Lincoln's impressive new facility features extensive resources and technology designed to best support the students it will serve. Lincoln's Denver campus offers a 43,000 square-foot Automotive Technology Lab with 56 bays, 18 lifts including heavy-duty lifts, five alignment racks, and three dynos - a Mustang Dyno, a SuperFlow Engine Dyno and a SuperFlow Axiline Transmission Dyno. Complementing the extraordinary Auto Lab is Denver's new 11,000 square-foot Diesel Technology Lab with nine bays, 15 dedicated welding booths and a Taylor Engine Dyno. Collision Technology is also well represented in the new Denver facility with a 27,000 square-foot lab allowing students to train with waterborne paints, custom airbrushing equipment and two computerized chief frame racks.

With a scope that extends beyond all major aspects of the automotive industry, Lincoln's striking new Denver location also features facilities for Welding Technology and Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology (HVAC). At an expansive 10,805 square feet, the Welding Technology Lab and cutting / grinding room includes an incredible 90 dedicated welding booths allowing students to train on both Lincoln Electric and Miller gear. Lincoln's HVAC program amenities include an Energy Audit House, Hampden Trainers, and seven dedicated classrooms.

Students seeking to advance their skills to pursue a profession offering real opportunity will be eager to explore the many classrooms and labs at Lincoln College of Technology's new location as they began their education at this remarkable campus in early July 2011. Lincoln students take advantage of education that emphasizes experiential learning in real-world work environments utilizing industry-specific equipment. Lincoln programs aim to fully prepare graduates to enter the workforce with confidence and skill.
