CAMPBELL, CA, September 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Underground Storage Tank operators in the State of West Virginia are given a state grant worth $100 per person when they register for Class A and/or B online training and certification through USTTraining.com. Offered only until December 31, 2011, the first 500 operators who apply are given grant coupons they can use toward the cost of the course.The online course is conducted via 1-day live webinars on September 20, October 18 and 20, November 15 and 17, and December 13 and 15, 2011 at Coggno.com.
To meet the federal Energy Policy Act of 2005, all underground storage tank operators in the country are required to be trained and certified by August 8, 2012. Class A UST Operators are owners or employees of a UST facility who have the primary responsibility of overseeing the entire UST system operation. Class B UST Operators are owners or employees who oversee the daily function, maintenance and inspection of the UST system. In broad strokes, Class A/B UST Operators are individuals, be it owners or employees, who are usually required to be on-site during operating hours at their respective UST facilities.
USTTraining's Class A/B UST Operator course combines the two classifications into one training and certification. The webinars are interactive, lively and full of pep to make sure that online students are kept engaged during the 8-hour training (9am to 4pm Eastern Time) with frequent breaks in between including a 1-hour lunch. After the training, the attendees are required to take an exam to complete the certification process. Note that the exam can be accomplished anytime at their convenience. A printable Certificate of Completion is emailed to those who passedcertifying them as Class A/B UST Operator in the State of West Virginia.
