PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) Philadelphia workers compensation lawyer Marianne Henry Saylor of the Pennsylvania labor union and employment law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson has been elected to the Lansdowne Borough Council. The Council directs the activities of the Borough of Lansdowne, located in Delaware County, Pa. Saylor's four-year term will begin on Jan. 3, 2012. In addition to directing the day-to-day activities of Lansdowne, the seven-member Council appoints a solicitor and engineer, as well as members of the town's administrative boards and commissions, including the Board of Health and the Planning Commission.
Saylor is a partner in the workers' compensation department of Willig, Williams & Davidson in Philadelphia. As a Pennsylvania workers comp lawyer, she provides extensive legal counseling and representation to injured workers throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Saylor has a deep knowledge of the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act and uses her familiarity with defense strategies to design effective protection of the rights of injured workers.
