LAKELAND, FL, March 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) 2012 marks a milestone achievement for a local CPA firm. Hamic, Jones, Hamic & Sturwold celebrates their 50th anniversary of business in Lakeland, FL.

Herb Hamic opened the doors in 1961 armed with pencils, typewriters, and resources books. Since then the firm has expanded and earned this distinguished honor crediting their respect and appreciation for their clients and community for their success.

Guerry Jones, who joined the business in 1977 comments "We value and very much appreciate the trust our clients bestow upon us in allowing us to handle a very personal and private part of their lives; their financial, accounting and tax matters".

It is this philosophy that has allowed the firm to grow over the years. For the past half century, the company provided individuals and businesses with quality tax, accounting, and business consulting services and solutions.

"We started out as business partners," says Earl Sturwold, "but have become good friends as well." The team all agrees "We've worked together well for all these years, and we are always there for each other."

Hamic, Jones, Hamic & Sturwold has become rooted within the community providing personal services to those clients who are able to walk in the door and see the faces they know. As a result of new technologies, the firm now services clients nationally and internationally. "There are no limitations," says Steve Hamic.
