SARASOTA, FL, June 27, 2012 (Press-News.org) Robert K. Lincoln and Stacy Dillard-Spahn, attorneys at Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A., were presenters at a seminar at the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar in St. Augustine recently. Mr. Lincoln organized and Ms. Dillard-Spahn moderated the panel presentation entitled "Exactions Under Current Law and Home Rule."

This was a highly interactive discussion that addressed recent statutes and how they affect or limit the home rule powers of local governments to assess new or existing development to pay for infrastructure.

Ashland University's Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences has received a $50,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF).
