LAKELAND, FL, June 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) With approximately 13,000 - 15,000 members of the media in attendance, the RNC will be the second largest media event in the world this year next to the Olympic Games. On a state level, the event will mark the first time that a national convention has been held in Tampa Bay.
Positioned and ready for what will become one of the most revered events in U.S. history, and certainly the State of Florida is Eventrics. The Lakeland-based event planning and management company announced today that they have been designated by the Tampa Bay Host Committee as a certified vendor in the exclusive Small Business Network program. Launched earlier this year, the objective is to promote and cultivate Tampa Bay's diverse business community representing small, women, and minority-owned companies. The SBN markets small, local businesses to large, local and national corporations in efforts to drive economic development to the Tampa Bay market.
