NEWQUAY, ENGLAND, July 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) The sands of Watergate Bay near Newquay will provide the venue of the first ever Electric Beach Festival on Saturday July 28th.

Iconic US hip-hop act De La Soul have signed up to headline the one-day event, which is expected to attract roughly 2,500 revellers to the Cornish coast.

With the likes of The Nextmen, The Scribes, Backbeat Soundsystem and The Breaks Collective also due to perform, the festival's inaugural edition looks set to be a memorable occasion.
