PARIS, FRANCE, July 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Classic rock fans will get the chance to see ZZ Top live in concert this summer at the Olympia in Paris.
The veteran American rockers will be performing hits such as Gimme All Your Lovin', La Grange, Sharp Dressed Man and Legs at the venue on Friday July 27th as part of their European tour.
Concert-goers heading to the French capital can choose from three seating areas - mezzanine, where seats are EUR139 (GBP111), balcony (EUR99.40) and orchestra (EUR79.60).
Formed in Texas back in 1969, ZZ Top released their first album in 1971 and enjoyed a commercial breakthrough with their 1973 LP Tres Hombres.
Instantly recognisable due to the long beards of guitarist Billy Gibbons and bassist Dusty Hill, the hirsute rockers have released 14 studio albums in total and performed to sell-out crowds around the world.
In 1984, razor company Gillette reportedly offered to pay the duo $1 million to appear in an advert shaving off their beards, but they declined.
Fans considering where to stay in Paris for the show can browse a wide range of hotels in the city at LateRooms.com, which recommends the Hotel Sofia.
Visit http://en.olympiahall.com/ for more information about the concert.
