Eileen became a client in 2011 with a tax debt of over $70,000 from a 401k withdrawal in 2004, and was also unfiled for years 2005-2010. With Eileen in her 60s and her husband in his 80s, they were scared that they would have to drain their retirement to pay off the IRS, which professionals at Tax Defense Network informed Eileen was indeed a possibility.
The legal team in Tax Defense Network's Foxhound division analyzed Eileen's financial documents, and replaced the filings the IRS had completed for the unfiled years. This helped Eileen and her husband reduce their original tax debt, penalties, and interest by $55,000.

A short while later, Eileen called Tax Defense Network with questions about mysterious checks that showed up in her mailbox. Eileen was informed that because of the new filings Tax Defense Network had completed, the checks, totaling $16,000, were refunds and credits from her 2008 and 2010 filings and payments she made for the original tax debt amount. Tax Defense Network had saved Eileen a tax debt that could have destroyed her savings and retirement, kept a Revenue Officer from coming after the couple's assets, and helped her choose a payment arrangement for the remaining debt.

"I can't believe you pulled this off. I really can't," Eileen stated. "I was just so thrilled that [the IRS was] not going to come after me; I don't know what to say. I don't know how to thank you. I am speechless."
