LOS ANGELES, CA, July 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) Aquaculture, also known as aqua-farming, is the farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, crustaceans, molluscs and aquatic plants.The Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development addresses cultivating freshwater and saltwater populations under controlled conditions, and can be contrasted with commercial fishing, which is the harvesting of wild fish.

The Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development under Open Access category aims to advance our understanding of Aquaculture and its current areas of research and development. The Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing an overview of Aquaculture Research & Development.

Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development is using online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems of Editorial Manager for quality and quick review processing. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Aquaculture Research & Development or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.
