SHALLOTTE, NC, July 19, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein has released 'Next Year In Jerusalem: Romance, Mystery And Spiritual Awakenings Part I'. The new book is the first in the 'Jerusalem Trilogy'.
Dr. Holstein is a very successful author of adult psychology and children's books. The human spirit, with its capacity for survival, growth and joy, has always been a subject of interest for Dr. Holstein. Now, taking that magic of the human spirit to a new level, she has released her first novel for women. Combining her talents as a writer and a psychologist has resulted in a story filled with romance, intrigue, mystery, and spiritual awakenings.
"I found it exciting," stated Dr. Holstein, "to combine my expertise as a psychologist with my writing talents. I think readers will enjoy the result - a story filled with romance, intrigue, mystery, and spiritual awakenings. Read it for pleasure but don't be surprised to find that you are coming closer to your own feelings, passions, desires and yearnings for personal growth."
In 'Next Year In Jerusalem', two women face extraordinary circumstances in one of the most spiritual, mysterious, romantic cities in the world. In this new novel, the reader is taken into the depths of confusion and mixed feelings that the protagonists, Natalie and Maggie, experience as they fall into mystery, spiritual awakenings and romance. The book is written to be a fun read, one that never takes the reader too low, and makes the reader laugh while revealing the best kept passions and secrets that are common to all people.
A recent reviewer stated "I traveled to Israel vicariously through the characters and with them enjoyed each step along the cobbled streets of ancient Jerusalem. Barbara Becker Holstein weaves themes of friendship, love, spirituality, and mystery, engaging the reader from the start. I look forward to the next installment!"
A Facebook page has been created for the work, titled 'Next Year In Jerusalem'. A YouTube channel, 'NextYearNJerusalem' is also available. 'Next Year In Jerusalem: Romance, Mystery And Spiritual Awakenings Part I' is available in print, Kindle, Nook and Itunes.
