SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, October 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) A new exhibition showcasing the talents of 11 top artists from across New South Wales (NSW) will open in Sydney at the start of next month.

The Outback Art Exhibition opens for the first time on November 1st 2010 and will be available for guests at hotels in Sydney to view at NSW Parliament House until November 26th.

Among the stars of the new installation will be Albert and Bronwen Woodroffe, Jenny Greentree, Yvonne Beard, John Murray, Peter Browne and Sharon Ohlsen.

As well as highlighting the ability of the artists, the organisers have expressed their desire to illustrate the unique areas in which they live.

"Visual appreciation" of the various paintings on show at the venue will demonstrate the beauty of the NSW outback, they stated.

Once locals and tourists - including those staying in the cheap hotels Sydney has available - have seen these works, they may be inspired to visit the areas depicted in the pictures themselves, it was explained.

Art enthusiasts can check out the exhibition between 09:00 and 17:00 local time every weekday, with the venue closing on Saturdays and Sundays.

Admission to NSW Parliament House is free.

The venue, the oldest parts of which were built in 1811, can be found on Macquarie Street, close to the State Library.
