AMC Storys Host Key Film Events During 2012 Toronto International Film Festival
AMC Storys hosts event series in historic Downtown venue for film premieres, junkets and media properties.

AMC Networks has teamed with renowned Los Angeles-based communications and special events company A-List Communications and premiere Toronto hospitality group Icon Legacy Hospitality to title sponsor and rebrand Icon Legacy's renovated downtown 4-story venue as "AMC STORYS" from September 7 - 10, 2012. In addition to building branding rights, AMC will present four days and nights of red-carpet special events during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, a media center hosting private press junkets for top film selections of the festival as well as a dedicated AMC branded hospitality lounge on the second floor open from 10 am- 4 am daily. On September 7th, the AMC lounge will also host an exclusive Gifting Suite, produced by DPA, for invited talent and guests. AMC's day and evening line-up at the venue will also feature exclusive cast cocktail parties for the highly anticipated Festival films and other VIP luncheons and dinners.The action takes place in Storys, a multi-level hospitality complex at 11 Duncan Street. Built by a partnership including Icon Legacy Hospitality, the sprawling venue, steps from Bell Lightbox and home of the Soho House at last year's TIFF, carries on its legacy of hosting events with significant star wattage for the films of TIFF 2012 with A-list Communications. Notable called the 170 year-old building "a feast for the senses; a brick and beam beauty." Bizbash calls it "A TIFF hotspot for the second year in a row." Other AMC event venues include restaurants Patria and Weslodge.
