Metro Health Adds Two New Family Practice Physicians

ROCKFORD, MI, August 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Wyoming, Michigan, August 23, 2012 - Metro Health Hospital has added a new family practice physician, Dr. Adam Kilkenney and an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Robert S. Marsh.

Kilkenney will practice family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine in the Hudsonville neighborhood outpatient center while Marsh will practice at the Metro Health Sports Medicine Center located in the Spartan Stores YMCA in Wyoming. Marsh will also concentrate on sports medicine and orthopaedics.

Kilkenney graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of science degree and a doctorate of osteopathy from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was recognized with the Intern of the Year award from Metro Health Hospital, where he did his residency.

Kilkenney is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Osteopathy, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.

A native of Rochester, Mich., Kilkenney now resides in Gaines Township with his wife, Catie, and son.

Marsh received a bachelor of arts degree from Purdue University and a doctorate of osteopathic medicine degree from Des Moines University. He has served as a team physician for Lansing Public Schools.

Marsh is a member of the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Michigan Osteopathic Society and the American Osteopathic Association.

His areas of specialty include foot and ankle reconstruction, sports medicine, joint reconstruction, trauma, shoulder and knee arthroscopy and general orthopedic surgery.

A native of Indianapolis, Marsh now resides in Alto with his wife, Amy, and two children.
