DELRAY BEACH, FL, September 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Take Stock In Children and Gill Law Firm came together in the mission to offer deserving low income students the opportunity to excel in their educational journey. Through Oasis Compassion Agency, the nine year-old non-profit organization founded by CEO Wayne Gill and Sharon Gill in Palm Beach - helping families excel in their recovery to self-sufficiency and workforce placement - the partnership accomplished an evening of inspiration and guidance to the Florida students groups in Lake Worth and Pahokee pursuing a college opportunity.
As part of the GLF Cares Program, CEO Wayne Gill kicked off the student body meetings sharing what is a vision, how to accomplish that vision, how to successfully manage transitions, and community building principles. Take Stock In Children's students earn 4-year college scholarships through academic and personal development programs. Paired with local mentors, students aim to gain a sponsored college opportunity by maintaining good academic standing, personal development, and staying crime and drug-free.
Oasis Compassion Agency provided the organization with one hundred "Success For Teens" books, donated by the Success Foundation (publisher of Success Magazine) to start the SUCCESS Club, a program imparting Take Stock's youth knowledge on life skills, such as budgeting and planning. Through a donation from the Carmax Foundation for youth and student development, Oasis Compassion Agency supports education efforts throughout Palm Beach County.

Rabine Group Hosts Blood Drive at Headquarters

Late last month, Rabine Group partnered with Heartland Blood Centers to hold its second blood drive at the Rabine Group headquarters in Schaumburg. During the summer months the blood banks are in desperate need of donations and the Rabine Group was pleased to be asked for the second year to hold a blood drive in the Schaumburg cafeteria location.
