LOS ANGELES, CA, September 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Pure Fix Cycles, the inventive line of quality-built fixed gear bicycles, launches the newest Fixed Gear Freestyle (FGFS) series showcasing a hybrid between a fixed gear and BMX bike.
Designed with its lightweight, but sturdy full Cromoly (CR-MO) frame, fat tires, and low crank ratio, this model combines the sleek aesthetic of the fixie with the hard-hitting slam of a BMX bike. The FGFS bike is a one-size-fits-all model at 40cm and is available in two color variations. The Chief features a matte black frame with pure white deep dish wheels and The Bogey is fully equipped with a slate grey bike frame, neon green hubs, and jet black wheels.
Pure Fix Cycles FGFS bikes are built upon a 40cm strong full heat treated 100% CR-MO steel frame sitting on 26 inch tripled walled, sealed hub wheels with super thick 2.2 inch tires designed for wheelies, jumping curbs and steps, riding traffic, and bombing hills. Additional welding gives the bike extra support along with a pivotal seat and seat post which permits for more aggressive tricking. The premier FGFS bicycle combines the two greatest things of riding a bike: functionality and tricking.
"The Fixed Gear Freestyle is the perfect bike for fixie enthusiasts who wants to show off their street tricks," said Pure Fix Cycles co-founder Zach Schau. "It is a dream combination that allows riders to cruise through traffic, pop a wheelie and keep some money in their pockets."
The Fixed Gear Freestyle bicycles are priced at $599 with free shipping across the United States. For more information about Pure Fix Cycles, please visit http://www.purefixcycles.com.
