Amanda Leeds Earns CPA Designation And Is Promoted To New Position

PHOENIX, AZ, September 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sandy Abalos, CPA, managing partner of Abalos & Associates, PLLC, has announced that Amanda Leeds has earned her Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification and has been promoted to tax supervisor. In this new position, Leeds will be an integral part of operations by supervising engagements and implementing tax planning strategies. Her additional responsibilities will include complex tax research matters, review and client relations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK and a Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. With more than 10 years of accounting experience, she has held previous positions as a staff accountant, tax professional and served as a senior associate at Abalos & Associates. Leeds is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
