RALEIGH, NC, November 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) GastroIntestinal Healthcare is proud to announce their recent support of the newly-opened Rolesville Middle School located off of Burlington Mill Road. The Raleigh medical practice is a Platinum Sponsor of the 6th-8th grade school, which is currently seeking corporate sponsorships and community donations to help with their proposed growth and development.
The school, under the leadership of Principal Dhedra Lassiter, currently serves 6th graders and has a track of 7th graders. The school plans to be fully operational by offering 6th through 8th grades by next year. Kathleen Varner, Co-President of the Rolesville Middle School PTA, says that corporate sponsors are vital to helping ensure that both teachers and students are given every opportunity to succeed. Sponsorships and other fundraisers will allow Rolesville Middle School to assist teachers with technology such as software integral for the classroom, provide cultural arts presentations that directly support the curriculum, assist its media center with acquiring more books, and support administration with necessary items that will directly benefit the school.
"Having support from the community has been a positive experience for our group as we started our new school year in July," says Varner. "The businesses of our area have helped us to start off with a solid foundation. It can be difficult to begin a new PTA with no funds. Thankfully, in addition to our area's generous businesses, other area PTA's contributed to our group. We are so grateful for this support, as it has helped us get programs up and running."
GastroIntestinal Healthcare Practice Administrator Nancy Nicoll O'Neill said that she was pleased with the idea of sponsoring the new middle school and considers her practice to be a part of "history".
"Rolesville Middle School will have a profound effect on the area, and we're delighted to be able to support them at this crucial time in their development," says O'Neill. "Our two businesses may be in different industries, but we both understand the importance of education, are dedicated to providing the best experience possible, and strive to have a positive impact on our community."
The school offers great visibility for sponsors by having its football field located in the front of the school on the main road—allowing traffic and parents to view corporate banners during community or sporting events. Potential sponsors and donors can find out more by visiting the Rolesville Middle School website at https://rolesvillems.wcpss.net or by going to their Facebook page at Rolesville Middle School PTA.
