DOYLESTOWN, PA, November 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Peacock Keller, a full-service law firm headquartered in Washington, Pa., expands its civil litigation group with the addition of a new associate, Eric D. Harbison. Mr. Harbison will concentrate his practice on coal, oil, gas, shale gas, mineral and energy law.

Prior to joining Peacock Keller, Mr. Harbison worked with a boutique management consulting firm in Latrobe, Pa., where he focused his practice on the management side of employment law and commercial disputes. He is a licensed practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
In 2010, Mr. Harbison graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he served as a topics editor for the University Of Pittsburgh Law Review and completed several internships with organizations such as the Allegheny and Westmoreland County District Attorney's offices and the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Army. He also received the prestigious honor of being recognized by the Westmoreland Bar Foundation with its Donald Laird Hankey Memorial and Honorable David H. Weiss Memorial scholarships.
Mr. Harbison attended Bucknell University, graduating cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in economics. He served as a writing tutor for the university's writing center, section editor for weekly campus newspaper The Bucknellian and macroeconomics teaching assistant during his senior year. Mr. Harbison also competed in NCAA Division I cross-country and indoor/outdoor track and field.
Outside of pursuing accomplishments within the legal profession, Mr. Harbison has acted as the assistant varsity cross-country coach and middle school track and field coach for Greensburg-Salem School District in Westmoreland County, Pa.
