SARASOTA, FL, November 10, 2012 (Press-News.org) Two attorneys of the law firm Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg P.A. have accepted leadership positions with the Sarasota County Bar Association.
Alyssa M. Nohren, who recently accepted the presidency of the Sarasota County Bar Association, joined Icard Merrill in 2006 and practices real estate law, concentrating her practice in residential and commercial real estate transactions, mobile home law, and real estate litigation. In addition to her involvement with the Bar Association, Ms. Nohren is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, PACE Center for Girls Board of Directors and the 12th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee. Ms. Nohren earned her Juris Doctor from the Suffolk University School of Law.
Lindsey A. Meshberger, incoming President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association, is an associate with Icard Merrill. She concentrates her practice in the areas of marital and family law, representing clients in actions involving dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence. She is also a member of the Family Law Section of both the Florida and American Bar Associations and the Young Lawyer's Division of the Sarasota County Bar Association, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Ms. Meshberger earned her Juris Doctor from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 2006.
