Industrial Tube & Steel New Facility Holds More Steel Tubing Inventory and Additional Metal Working Capabilities

Larger Facility has Capacity for More Inventory and Equipment that Allows for Quicker Turnaround

2012-11-22
KENT, OH, November 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Industrial Tube & Steel Corporation built a larger facility to hold more inventory of steel tubing with additional custom cutting and faster loading capabilities to create better overall service for their customers.

"Our new facility was designed and built with our customers' needs in mind," said Dick Siess, President of Industrial Tube & Steel. "With the larger facility, we hold significantly more stock and equipment to create faster turnaround times. In addition, the efficient layout of the warehouse enables us to better meet our customers' stocking and delivery demands."

The warehouse and office space doubled the size of Industrial Tube & Steel's previous facility. The higher ceilings offer a better side loading rack system that utilizes space better and improves storage, creating a more efficient flow of materials for faster distribution.

"Following our move in 2009, we increased from four 5-ton to six 10-ton cranes," said Siess. "These cranes are able to carry heavier loads and reach higher racks."

The larger facility also created room for several other capabilities and state-of-the-art equipment. A 28-inch Hyd-Mech saw has a larger cutting capacity with quick and accurate sawing of steel bar and tubing. Industrial Tube & Steel is also able to provide faster delivery times with six loading docks and two drive-through bays.

Conveniently situated near interstate highways, the building is located at 4658 Crystal Parkway, on the border of Tallmadge and Kent, Ohio in Portage County.
