The lecture series, which is tailored to meet the needs of design and construction industry professionals, will take place at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center at NC State University from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Stewart, who will deliver his presentation on Friday morning, will address the importance of the integration of human capital and business intelligence for organizational success. The presentation will focus on five specific areas: leadership, strategy, architecture, industry and performance. In his discussion, Stewart will show how a focus on each of these areas can assist in identifying crucial market differentiation to develop high-performance organizations with a clear vision, high-performing internal teams and a disciplined company culture. During the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to take a survey to determine the current state of their organizational management index and how their score compares with a global study. Based on the identified gaps, a root-cause analysis will follow, leading to an action plan exercise to address any issues.

QUOTES:
"Continuing education in all fields of study is a fundamental component for furthering one's career development," said Stewart. "I look forward to presenting at this year's continuing education lecture series, as I am eager to use my professional experience and educational background to help others learn more about integrating both human capital and business intelligence for organizational success, as well as gain an understanding on how to effectively blend these two components in their individual professions."
