CHOKEGrip Launches Revolutionary Baseball Training Tool At Annual Winter Meeting

Device helps fine-tune grip; young players gain confidence, muscle memory through graduated choke-up training method

2012-12-05
NASHVILLE, TN, December 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) CHOKEGrip today announced the launch of their first product, "CHOKEGrip Baseball," at the annual Baseball Winter Meetings. CHOKEGrip Baseball is the first fully adjustable, lightweight and durable choke-up device that provides athletes an unmatched level of precision, grip, control and confidence in their swing.

"Choking up is a method of batting proven to facilitate faster swing and stride times without compromising the velocity or control of the bat," said Brad Hogan, CHOKEGrip co-founder. "This practice increases the hitter's chance of making solid contact, and can give batters significantly more time to see the ball before that contact."

The CHOKEGrip device emulates the bottom "knob" of a baseball bat to give players a natural and comfortable feel when choking up. The product is made of the most durable polymer materials, is weatherproof, shatterproof and its patent-pending, multi-tooth ratcheting system is virtually foolproof and indestructible.

Conditions like dirt, grease, water, sweat, low temperatures and even fatigue can compromise grip and have an impact on a player's grip and ability to swing and make contact. With its Vex-Ring Technology and C4 Compression, CHOKEGrip won't slip. Its rock-solid hold on almost any surface won't cushion or give way, and ensures a correct and confident grip with every at-bat.

In addition to its swing-training application, CHOKEGrip Baseball is a practical way for families and teams to save money, by buying one bat instead of several to accommodate different sizes and growth stages.

"From little leaguers to collegiate players, CHOKEGrip Baseball helps improve hitting mechanics and performance," said Hogan. "Developing muscle memory and fine-tuning techniques are keys to achieving results in any sport."

Baseball Winter Meetings attendees are invited to demo the CHOKEGrip at booth 164 in the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
