BKD Promotes Elizabeth Hazzard to Managing Consultant

Hazzard delivers unmatched client service, embraces change and shows dedication to the firm's values and the accounting industry. She assumed the new role on December 1, 2012.

Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience. Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members. Individuals become candidates for promotion after successfully mastering their existing level.

Hazzard has experience preparing transfer pricing reports, including planning analyses, documentation studies, economic analyses and IRS audit responses. She works with clients in a variety of industries, including energy and mining, chemicals, manufacturing, computer software and trucking.

She is a 2005 graduate of McKendree University, Lebanon, Illinois, with a B.B.A. degree in economics/finance and management, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Connecticut, Storrs, with an M.A. degree in economics.
