WESTON, FL, February 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) South Florida has always been one of the United States most popular dive destinations with good reason. With an impressive variety of dive sites including: a natural reef system, several artificial reef programs, and hundreds of sunken ship wreck sites, a scuba diver can literally dive a different site every day of the year in south Florida. This certainly makes south Florida the perfect place to learn how to scuba dive as well. New dive operator, Learn Scuba With Paul, has revolutionized both the diver certification process and dive trip reservation process. Flexible scheduling, affordable prices, top notch customer service, and an experience never to forget all come standard with any scuba diving lesson or dive trip at Learn Scuba With Paul.
All scuba divers share a passion for the ocean and typically have a strong desire to explore. However surely each diver's preference can vary in type of dive site, size of boat, time of day, and what they want to learn or see during their underwater adventure. With several boat charters in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Key Largo, Learn Scuba With Paul is the only dive operation in south Florida that makes all of these choices possible to divers of all experience levels. Amazing diving year round has caused dive operations to become a dime a dozen so choosing the right shop or boat can make all the difference in the experience. VIP treatment means there is no waiting in line to check in. Advance boarding passes and boat waivers emailed within 24 hours of booking make check in a breeze on the day of the dive trip.
The VIP treatment does not stop here. Customizable course schedules mean even working professionals can find the time to get certified without taking days off. Classroom sessions are available in the evenings or weekends. Late rising vacationers can opt for afternoon dive trips or pool sessions without the hassle of early morning check in times. Classes may even be taught in the student's home or on their boat if they prefer to do so. Private instruction is available but class sizes never exceed 4 students so students needing extra attention will certainly be satisfied. Learn Scuba With Paul will go the extra mile to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction possible while maintaining their impeccable standards for safety.
One of the most common questions for visitors to Florida is "Do I need to get certified in order to go scuba diving?" The Discover Scuba Diving program allows prospective divers to try scuba diving out for the first time without the commitment of a certification course. After a short video of some safety basics and quick pool session to develop some essential skills, Discover Scuba Diving participants are ready to enjoy a dive trip to a local coral reef or shallow ship wreck. This experience may even be credited later towards the Open Water Diver certification. Diving might not be for everyone in the group but not to worry snorkeling can be just as fun, so no one has to sit out on the sidelines.
The Open Water Diver certification can be earned in only 3 days however 4 days are generally recommended to cover all 3 phases of the course. Phase 1 consists of knowledge development in the classroom. There are 5 chapters, each consisting of a knowledge review and quiz followed by a multiple choice final exam. This phase may be completed independently online through PADI's online E-Learning system. Phase 2 consists of a 5 confined pool sessions, usually done consecutively, where participants master a few basic skills needed to be a competent and safe scuba diver. Finally phase 3 consists of 4 open water dives where the skills learned in the pool sessions are reinforced and applied in an open water scenario. Upon completion of the course Open Water Divers are certified to dive with other certified divers to maximum depths of 60ft.
Going deeper than 60ft requires additional training beginning with the Advanced Open Water course. It can be done in only a couple days particularly if the E-Learning option is used. In this course there are no quizzes or exams and the student completes only a knowledge review for each chapter. 5 open water dives including a deep dive, navigation dive and a choice of 3 other specialty dives. AOW certified divers may dive up to 100ft. Still want to explore deeper into the blue? A deep diving specialty course can certify divers to be able to dive to the recreational limit of 130ft. Continuing further the Rescue course is about rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it's the best course they've ever taken.
Signing up for a dive trip or scuba diving lesson has never been easier or more affordable. When registering with friends or family for any course students will receive a group pricing. Individual registration for the Open Water Diver class is only $499, 2 only $450, 3 only $425 and for 4+ only $400 per person. A $100 refundable deposit is all that's needed to hold a reservation so call today to request available dates and get started. Scuba diving is one of the most relaxing, rewarding, and fun activities to do while in south Florida so be sure not to miss out. Join millions of already certified divers and start to explore the underwater world of south Florida.
