MILAN, ITALY, October 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Dream Is Approaching is now available to view in Milan and features more than 50 paintings by the legendary surrealist artist Salvador Dali.
Running until January 30th, this collection is guaranteed to be fascinating for any guests at the luxury hotels Milan has to offer who enjoy art and could be a great introduction to the painter for those that have not seen his work before.
According to PB Art, the themes centred on in the exhibition are landscapes, dreams and desires, with the curator Oscar Tusquets Blanca - a former collaborator of Dali's - showing how the three interconnect.
The Catalan artist is described by the Florida museum that takes his name as a man who explored all areas of art and will always be seen as one of the most significant creators of the 20th century.
"As an artist, Salvador Dali was not limited to a particular style or media. The body of his work, from early impressionist paintings through his transitional surrealist works and into his classical period, reveals a constantly growing and evolving artist."
Admission for this stunning exhibition costs EUR9 (GBP7.90) but concessions are available.
Opening hours at the prestigious complex are from 14:30 to 19:30 local time on Mondays, 09:30 to 19:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the building available to visit between 09:30 and 22:30 on Thursdays and Saturdays.
