YUMA, AZ, April 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Arizona ophthalmology practice Aiello Eye Institute has expanded its offerings to provide optical services at its Foothills office.
In addition to being a renowned Arizona LASIK center, the practice offers cataract surgery, treatment for macular degeneration and other routine and complex eye care treatments.
"We're always working to put the needs and care of our clients first," says Dr. Patrick Aiello. "Now, in addition to ophthalmology and optometry, patients can receive our high level of service and care for eyeglasses and contact lenses in our Foothills location. By adding our optical services to our Foothills location, we can provide greater convenience and better meet the needs of our clients."
Prior to the addition of optical services to its Foothills location, the practice offered Ophthalmic and Optometric services. This addition of optical services at their Foothills office, located at 11551 S. Fortuna Rd., Ste. E, means patients have more options for their vision care needs in Yuma.
Ophthalmology involves the medical and surgical care of the eyes. Optometry is primarily concerned with vision correction and eye health problems. Optical services include the fitting and dispensing of eye glasses and contact lenses. Adding optical services means patients can both receive regular eye care and fulfill their prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses in the same office, as well as receive quality medical care for more serious conditions.
With about 12 miles between the 2 offices, people in distinct areas of Yuma have more convenient access to the expert care that only a practice with an ophthalmologist, optometrist and an experienced staff can provide.
"The benefit of coming to Aiello Eye Institute is that patients receive care from an educated, experienced medical team," says Dr. Aiello. "Myself, our optometrist Dr. Snyder and our staff continually learn about the latest techniques in our fields by regularly attending lectures, meetings and conventions. I can work together with Dr. Snyder to provide patients with top-quality care. From a routine eye exam and filling glasses prescriptions to treatment for glaucoma and laser eye surgery in Arizona, patients receive comprehensive care at Aiello Eye Institute."
Aiello Eye Institute has more than 30 members on its staff, with specialists that include clinical educators, optician, ophthalmic assistants, surgery counselors, a patient care advocate, LASIK counselors and a number of administrative staff members. This specialized team is necessary, says Dr. Aiello, to ensure that clients receive the specialized care they deserve.
Aiello Eye Institute is a full-service eye care practice in Yuma, Arizona. It was founded by ophthalmologist Patrick Aiello, MD, who is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and American Board of Internal Medicine. The practice provides comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry services through proven, state-of-the-art technology, with optometry services provided by Elliot Snyder, OD. Services include eye exams, laser surgery (LASIK), cataract surgery, macular degeneration treatments, glaucoma treatments and diabetic eye care. This full-service medical and surgical eye care practice offers convenient locations in Yuma.
