JPA Health Communications Hires Hampton Shaddock in Washington Office

WASHINGTON, DC, May 08, 2013 (Press-News.org) JPA Health Communications announced today that Hampton Shaddock will join the Washington, D.C. office as a senior vice president, effective May 13. Shaddock is a seasoned health communications professional, specializing in issues management, media relations and advocacy engagement initiatives. He will report directly to Carrie Jones, principal and managing director.

"Hampton has a proven track record in public relations and alliance development," said Carrie Jones. "He adds significant depth of experience across multiple therapeutic areas that will complement our portfolio beautifully."

Shaddock brings more than 25 years of experience in social marketing, coalition development and government relations. Prior to joining JPA, he served as the U.S. director of public health and advocacy for Burson-Marsteller, where he was responsible for managing and directing the agency's healthcare constituency and public health outreach programs. He also served as a Washington, D.C., healthcare market leader for the agency.

Additionally, Shaddock worked as a senior vice president at Cohn & Wolf where he managed some of the agency's largest accounts and provided support on a variety of issues, including technology, healthcare and public affairs. Prior to that, worked as a public relations consultant where his clientele included the Clinton/Gore campaign, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
