ORLANDO, FL February 24, 2014 (Press-News.org) KLAS Research announced its 2014 report schedule while at the annual HIMSS show in Orlando. KLAS gave heavy consideration to feedback from healthcare providers to determine the 2014 direction.
"We have a commitment to our provider partners that we will continue to evolve as the industry does," said Adam Gale, president of KLAS. "Our part in furthering the community of care is knowing where the provider focus is and helping providers make informed decisions."
This year there is an expanded focus on newer areas like accountable care, population health and business intelligence/health analytics. This is in addition to the segments that providers are used to seeing from KLAS, such as EMRs, consulting services, medical imaging and health information exchange.
