RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO, CANADA, April 18, 2014 (Press-News.org) Jimmy Nowrouzi, Director of Global Operations Management of Convergys Corporation has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in operations management.

Mr. Nowrouzi has 17 years of professional experience in the BPO industry, with four years as a director of global operations management at Convergys Corporation. Throughout his career, his skill set has included disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma and variation-based management. On a daily basis, he is responsible for monitoring the performance of operations, as well as leading enterprise global customer engagements across the telecommunications, financial services, sales, marketing and business development industries. Through his work, Mr. Nowrouzi hopes to support enterprise global customer engagements.
Looking back, Mr. Nowrouzi attributes his success to his hard work and focus on people. He became involved in his profession because of his start in computer networking. He started as a technical support agent and he has steadily progressed in the field ever since.

Mr. Nowrouzi received a Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory technology from the University of Medical Sciences in 1984, as well as a Diploma in computer networking from CDI Colleges in 1999. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with various LinkedIn groups. In years to come, Mr. Nowrouzi intends to become vice president or senior vice president and then pursue the position of CEO.
