Service Providers to Resell White-Labeled Collaboration Software-as-a-Service

2010-11-19
NUREMBERG, GERMANY, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) MESH, one of the leading infrastructure providers in Europe for co-location and IP services, announced today the availability of white-labeled Open-Xchange e-mail and collaboration solutions delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). MESH's vast retail channel is now able to provide collaboration and mobility services to consumers and small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) without upfront investment.

"Open-Xchange provides our resellers with a competitive advantage in the market and strengthens our leading position as innovative provider of white-labeled hosting services," said Claudia Gharavi, CEO at MESH. "Our partners can easily add Open-Xchange to their hosting portfolio through MESH I.Q., our Whitelabel Cloud Automation online portal, and grow their business with individually branded business-class e-mail and collaboration and mobility services."

In the SaaS model, end-user customers subscribe to the application instead of purchasing them, typically on a monthly basis. In this pay-as-you go approach, SMEs are afforded an easy-to-use, low-cost service.

Open-Xchange software integrates e-mail, calendar, contact and task management with advanced groupware features such as information management and document sharing. Productivity is enhanced through unique teamwork features, like team view, single-password document sharing, and shared calendars, contacts, tasks and documents. As part of the agreement with MESH, end customers can use Open-Xchange webmail and PIM (Personal Information Management) at no additional charge with an option to upgrade to full groupware, as well as support for mobile devices.

MESH offers clients and resellers the highest level of certified data security as well as extensive service level agreements. For more information on MESH's SaaS offering, resellers are invited to visit http://store.mesh.eu.

"Service providers find it hard to increase the average revenue per user (ARPU) by introducing new services. By delivering cost-effective, white-labeled hosted Open-Xchange services in a cloud model, MESH partners can easily expand their product portfolio, solidify their relationship with existing customers and attract new customer audiences," says Rafael Laguna, CEO Open-Xchange. "As businesses look to lower their IT costs in the current economic situation, SaaS is becoming the preferred way to deliver and use software."
