Cary, NC, February 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Chuck Norman, APR, one of S&A Cherokee's owner/principals, has been named Chairman of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. Norman's primary focus will be leading the chamber's board of directors and executive board.
"His past experience as an executive for another chamber brings a great understanding of how we can improve our operations and member benefits," said Scoop Green, executive director of the Holly Springs Chamber. "We are excited to work under his leadership to advance the Holly Springs Chamber."
Norman has played a large influence in the business community through numerous leadership positions over the past several years including the following: Board of Directors, SearStone; 2004-2006 president, Raleigh Public Relations Society; Board of Directors, 2009 president-elect and 2010 president, North Carolina Public Relations Society of America; 2011 chair-elect SE District, PRSA; and Board of Directors, Cary MacGregor Rotary Club. Prior to accepting the position, Norman acted as the treasurer and then chairman-elect for the chamber's Board of Directors.
