LONDON, ENGLAND, February 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) For the first time in more than 20 years, The British Art Show will be held in London.
While the capital hosts many of the biggest exhibitions to hit the UK, the honour of staging this particular touring event has fallen to other cities in the country over the past two decades.
The British Art Show 7 will be on display at the Hayward Gallery from February 16th to April 17th 2011.
Among the anticipated highlights are an outdoor installation by Keith Wilson, a bell created by Christian Maclay and Sarah Lucas's series of sculptures.
Admission to the exhibition costs GBP8, although there are concessions available.
Those using the London Underground to reach the gallery should alight at Waterloo or Embankment.
The installation is open from 10:00 to 18:00 GMT every day except for Thursday and Friday, when the collection can be viewed until 20:00.
