SAN DIEGO, CA, March 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Bauer Technologies, a subsidiary of Bauer Resources GmbH headquartered near Munich in Germany, is based in Johannesburg with an annual turnover of around R70 million.

The Bauer Group worldwide is split into three divisions; foundation contractors, drilling equipment suppliers and operators under one umbrella.

Area Manager Africa Lars Roesler explains: "We are a globalised company with a lot of synergies in our group. Bauer Technologies in South Africa is a one-stop shop for the resource industry. Clients can come to us for engineering and either the supply of materials and equipment, or the turnkey drilling operation.

"We try to deliver complete solutions, with us there are no different sub-contractors for the next stage of drilling work, we can offer it all."

Bauer Technologies says it has a great advantage over its competitors in terms of using the most state-of-the-art equipment, sourced and supported from supply companies within the Bauer Group.

"There is a constant feed in from our group, which operates 100 companies in 60 countries. We are always exchanging information," adds Roesler.

Bauer Technologies has invested in three rigs overseas and is looking into local partnerships to lead into new subsidiaries in the new territories as part of its specific plans for the next 12 months.
