PRESTONBURG, KY, March 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Blue Moon Mountain Bluegrass Festival - The Scott Organization announces the 1st Annual Blue Moon Mountain Bluegrass Festival at Prestonburg Equine Center at Stone Crest July 27th-July 31st. This five day family event will be celebrated in the year of the Father of Bluegrass Bill Monroe's 100th Birthday anniversary.
The hills of Eastern Kentucky will be resonating with banjos, mandolins, fiddles and harmonies of the awarding winning artists such as Rick Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder; J.D. Crowe; Joe Diffie; Marty Rayborn and Full Circle; Dale Ann Bradley; Coaltown Dixie; Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass; Cumberland River Band; David Carrol and New River; CJ The DJ and East Kentucky Rain; Storme Warren host of GAC's Headline Country is set to host the weekend festivities.
Camping is available with electric and water resources, but space is limited.
