Makeovers Salon + Spa Raises $3,000 for the MSPCA-Angell during Cut-A-Thon

Over 100 guests along with 15 of their canine friends and a turtle turned out for Makeovers Salon & Spa's recent "Cut-A-Thon" last Sunday which was held in support of shelter animals.

BOSTON, MA, April 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Makeovers Salon & Spa raised $3,000 for the non-profit MSPCA-Angell through the festive event.

Guests enjoyed live music, refreshments, face painting, raffles, giveaways and amazing silent auction items which included a "Night at Fenway" package of dinner at Cask 'n Flagon, two tickets for Boston Red Sox vs White Sox game and an autographed baseball by Jason Varitek. Also part of the silent auction was an "Ultimate Date Night" package which included champagne and strawberries, a couples massage, men's cut, wash and blow dry for the ladies and dinner for two at Stoneforge Grill.

Makeovers Salon & Spa wishes to thank their 30 service providers who generously donated their time for this special event.
