Pro Energy Consultants Hires Tony Valentino as VP of Business Development

Pro Energy Consultants has added HVAC business expert Tony Valentino to its team as vice president of business development. Valentino will work to cement Pro Energy's reputation as the No. 1 brand in the building performance industry.

2010-09-11
CLEVELAND September 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) Pro Energy Consultants showed its continued commitment to being America's top brand in the building performance industry by hiring Tony Valentino as vice president of business development. Valentino has more than 25 years of experience in all areas of the HVAC business and will focus on building the Pro Energy brand.

To promote the Pro Energy label, Valentino will be tasked with developing regional and national strategic business alliances, as well as increasing awareness of the company as a first-choice partner in the home performance industry. His experience has taught him a company's success depends on everyone involved.

"Once you've created and formed partnerships, success comes from the performance of all sides," said Valentino. "It's not just the sales and marketing — it also comes from the field, the execution side of the business — all things have to come together to make it work."

Valentino's industry experience is vast as he's worked at every level for an HVAC company, including sales, marketing, technical support and operations. He spent eight years at FirstEnergy Corporation, one of the largest utility companies in America, and worked on the development and sales of many energy efficiency programs. It was there Valentino learned the impact of home performance on energy use, comfort and air quality. As a business owner of one of the largest HVAC companies in the Cleveland market, home performance diagnostics became a "significant service offering" for Valentino's company.

Additionally, Valentino was certified by the Building Performance Institute in 2008 in preparation for an Energy Star program.

Pro Energy Consultants, the nation's first building performance franchise, performs energy audits for maximizing the comfort and energy efficiency of homes and "light" commercial buildings while reducing energy costs. Its system for conducting energy audits is backed by more than 15 years' experience and more than 11,000 energy audits. The company's mission is to provide customers energy audits that are customized, comprehensive and diagnostic. As an unbiased third party, Pro Energy uses the information from its energy audits to solve the top three building performance problems homeowners face: discomfort, excessive energy usage and poor indoor air quality issues.
