CARLSBAD, CA, April 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Realcomm Conference Group, LLC, a global leader in providing technology education and networking opportunities for the commercial and corporate real estate industry, announced the speaker line-up for the Third Annual Energy Innovation Summit, which will feature two distinct segments showcasing GSA/PBS leadership and IT/ Sustainability executives from CB Richard Ellis and Jones Lang LaSalle. The Summit will be held on June 15 in Orlando, FL.

The first Summit panel discussion, titled "IT's Expanding Role in the Future of Facilities Management," will include Robert Peck, Commissioner for PBS, Larry Melton, Assistant Commissioner, Office of Facilities Management and Services Programs for PBS and Phil Klokis, CIO for PBS, who will discuss the historic shift in the way the industry designs, builds, manages and operates commercial, institutional and corporate real estate. Additionally, these three individuals, who represent real estate, facilities and IT for one of the largest landlords in the world, will talk about the changing organizational structure of real estate operations and the level of interdepartmental interaction required to deliver this new operating structure that utilizes technology, automation and innovation to maximize the portfolio.

The second discussion, titled "IT's Role in a Real Estate Firm's Sustainability Strategy," will feature the technology and sustainability teams from two of the world's most prestigious commercial real estate firms. Don Goldstein, CIO and David Pogue, National Director of Sustainability from CB Richard Ellis will be joined by Dan Probst, Chairman, Energy and Sustainability Services and David Johnson, CIO from Jones Lang LaSalle. These two world-class organizations will offer insight, perspective and experience into the evolving relationship between technology, automation, innovation and sustainability.
