NORFOLK, ENGLAND, June 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Rising comedy star Zoe Lyons is due on stage at the Norwich Arts Centre next month.
The show on Thursday July 14th will give fans a chance to see a performer whose reputation has been growing steadily as a result of recent appearances on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Mock the Week.
However, insiders on the stand-up circuit have been aware of the Brighton-based comic's witty observations and energetic delivery for many years.
Lyons won national recognition by scooping the Funny Women award in 2004 and also saw one of her gags named the best joke of the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008 by digital TV channel Dave.
Her other TV credits include The Paul O'Grady Show, Weapons of Mass Distraction and The Golden Rules of Comedy.
Support for Lyons's performance in Norwich will be provided by special guest Chris Martin, another up-and-coming star of the UK comedy scene.
Tickets are priced at GBP10 and can be purchased online. The show is due to begin at 20:00 BST.
