Nccpap Summer Education Conference To Be Held In Philadelphia, PA

The National Conference of CPA Practitioners (ncCPAp) Summer Education Conference, an educational program for practicing CPAs, will be held in Philadelphia, PA on August 4, 2011.

MINEOLA, NY, July 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) The ncCPAp Summer Education Conference will be held on August 4th, 2011 at the Sofitel Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. The conference will feature educational programs on accounting and tax issues and updates, plus a special two-hour seminar on how to market, grow and manage your Certified Public Accounting (CPA) practice. In addition and in conjunction with the IRS, a "Practitioner Case Resolution" Program will be offered. This program provides an opportunity to resolve client issues through the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS). Attendees are invited to bring one IRS case not currently assigned to an IRS agent. TAS representatives will be available to meet one-on-one with tax practitioners for on-site resolution of their case or issue. Please remember to bring your IRS Power of Attorney.

"This will be an opportunity for CPAs and practitioners from throughout the Delaware Valley to obtain five-hours of Accounting & Audit, two-hours of Tax, and two-hours of MAP CPE. The Presenters:

Frank Gallo, MBA, CPA is the managing partner of Gallo & Company, CPA's LLP located in Jericho, NY.

Neil Fishman, CPA, CFE, FCPA, CAMS is a National Vice President of NCCPAP and chair of the National Tax Committee. He is a graduate of Pace University with a Master of Business Administration in Public Accounting and was a manager at Kenneth Leventhal and Company before starting his own practice in 1986.

Pam Falkner, Manager of Business Development for Bookminders, has extensive experience training CPAs how to effectively utilize QuickBooks to achieve maximum productivity.

Sandra G. Johnson, CPA, EA, CFE is a frequent speaker on ways to grow and manage CPA firms. She is president of Sandra G. Johnson, CPA, P.C.

Robert L. Goldfarb, CPA, PFS, CFF, CFP, CFE, DABFE, DABFA is a Past-President of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners and currently serves as Chair of the Issues Committee. He has served as National Tax Policy Committee Chair for more than eight years.
