CRANSTON, RI, August 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced the Model 9449 Tri-Channel DB9 A/B Switch that allows quick connection to any one of two devices from one common device for each of its three channels. Ideal for supporting RS422 applications that have a DB9 connector interface!

The Model 9449 simultaneously switches all three channels with a simple turn of a rotary switch. Ideal for any computer room, office or lab, the M9449 eliminates the daunting task of unplugging and plugging cables when switching over critical networks during outages. The Model 9449 also provides computer network efficiency by allowing the sharing of peripherals. This slim, rackmount unit has anodized, black box packaging providing EMI/RFI shielding and has a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
