DALLAS, TX, November 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) GREENspot DROPoff, Inc. expands its popular, free and convenient e-waste collection program in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area with six new locations at Access Self Storage. This is in addition to the nine locations that recently joined the GREENspot program in September. Beginning November 21, 2011, residents living within close proximity to Access Self Storage locations will now have a convenient and viable option for recycling their electronic waste.
"We hope we can provide Americans the best e-waste recycling options, both for their pocket books and busy schedules."- Dan Jaeggi, General Manager of GREENspot DROPoff, Inc.
According to the EPA, e-waste is the fastest growing waste stream in America and accounts for about 70% of our hazardous waste. To combat the growing problem, GREENspot DROPoff, Inc. has partnered with BAN (Basel Action Network) compliant recyclers. BAN regulations are by far the strictest in the industry, requiring recyclers to process all e-waste material domestically and maintain a zero landfill policy.
"Having the latest and greatest and being environmentally responsible aren't mutually exclusive. But it really comes down to choice—you have to choose to recycle, the same way you have to choose to buy something. At the end of the day, we're all responsible for the choices we make."
Said Mike Wachtel, President of GREENspot DROPoff, Inc.
To locate the newest facilities, GREENspot DROPoff has a simple to use website. Simply go to http://www.greenspotdropoff.org and type in your zip code. That will direct you to your closest GREENspot.
GREENspot DROPoff provides FREE and CONVENIENT e-waste recycling at hundreds of DROPoff locations throughout California. We collect TVs, Computers, Laptops, LCDs, Faxes, Printers, and anything else you plug in and want to throw away (excluding appliances).
