LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Guests at Liverpool hotels will have all sorts of opportunities to interact with art by heading to Touched at Tate Liverpool.
It opened on Saturday September 18th and will be available until November 28th 2010, with visitors having a unique treat in store for them if they head down to the arts space.
"On display at Tate Liverpool will be interactive pieces that can be physically touched by the viewer, such as Franz West's sculptures which invite visitors to sit or lie on them," explained the venue.
It noted that Touched is the 2010 theme for the Liverpool Biennial, which looks at how people can be emotionally affected by artistic creations, as well as how they will be allowed physical contact with pieces.
Among the other major artists included in the exhibition are Nina Canell, Diango Hernandez and Otto Muehl.
For something a little bit different, visitors might consider heading to watch Jamie Isenstein, who will be living in the midst of her display throughout the Touched run.
Travellers worried about their budget will be happy to hear that the collection is free to view, with attendees able to pay GBP5 if they want a one-hour guided tour.
Opening hours for the building are from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 and 17:30 BST.
For more information on this event visit the Tate Liverpool website or contact the venue on +44 (0)151 702 7400.
