IRVINE, CA, November 16, 2012 (Press-News.org) FOURTEEN GOLF, the recognized leader in wedge design with 48 worldwide professional tour victories since the 2010 golf season, announced that the company's wedges, irons and fairway woods were used by two top-10 finishers at the LPGA Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, "This is the second to last LPGA event of the season and we are pleased that players who use our clubs have continued to finish in the top ten week after week on this tour. These talented golfers recognize the benefits of using our products and we congratulate both professionals on their strong performances at this event."
The T6 finisher used Fourteen Golf TC-710 Irons, and SF-511 Fairway Woods. This was her first top-ten finish of the year. The T8 finisher used Fourteen Golf RM-11 Wedges and TC-710 Irons. This 2011 Rookie of the Year has posted two top-ten finishes in 2012.
FOURTEEN GOLF wedges, irons and woods are played by elite players on every professional Tour including the PGA, Web.com, LPGA Tours and many more. While the irons and woods have become more popular in recent years, the company's wedges have been used by professionals for many years. This past season, the RM-11 Wedge has seized 65 Top-10 finishes on the professional tours and enjoys a tremendous following.
The FOURTEEN GOLF RM-11 Wedge received its name from the measurement of "revolutions per minute." The enlarged grooves impart such exceptional spin and rotational speed that the design team thought the name was fitting.
The FOURTEEN GOLF RM-11 Wedge features larger grooves that translate to maximum spin with exceptional control. The new USGA conforming FOURTEEN GOLF trapezoidal grooves have been enlarged by 15% as compared to its predecessor. This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. These new grooves have been tested on the PGA Tour and the Pros all agreed, the RM-11 Wedges with their soft feeling head combined with uniquely shaped larger grooves provide extraordinary control, incomparable spin and precision like accuracy.
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning golf equipment company that takes great pride in their tour program. This year FOURTEEN GOLF officially signed Japanese golfing prodigy and PGA Professional Ryuji Imada to a three year endorsement deal which includes a staff bag, head covers, hat, umbrella and wedges. He joins FOURTEEN GOLF team members PGA Professionals Chad Collins and Arjun Atwal.
