Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants, PC Wins Consecutive Talk of the Town Awards

Dr. Andrew Fanelli and the team at Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants receive high marks from patients, earning them back-to-back Talk of the Town Awards.

2013-04-11
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, April 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) Earning a 4-star customer satisfaction rating for two straight years, Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants, PC has won its second Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award in the Health & Medical — Physicians category.

The Talk of the Town Awards, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media U.S., honor companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers who calculate a company's CM Power Rating. Only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.

Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants, established in 2003, was one of the first state-certified outpatient surgical centers in Pennsylvania. The surgical center was created to deliver a higher level of service and comfort to patients receiving gastroenterological treatments, allowing patients to have their consultation, procedure and recovery all in one place without having to fit into a hospital surgical room time slot.

Dr. Andrew Fanelli, the center's chief physician, has more than 40 years of experience in gastroenterological services and is a double-boarded specialist in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. His colleagues call him a "doctor's doctor," often referring complicated cases as well as their own families to him. "When it comes to medical care, patients want to know they are putting their lives in the hands of a well-skilled medical practitioner, and Dr. Fanelli is recognized for his medical achievements," says Dr. Andrea Nola, COO of the Ambulatory Endoscopic Surgical Center of Bucks County.

In addition to providing state-of-the-art medical care, Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants also places a strong emphasis on patient care and satisfaction by being on time, treating all patients with respect and showing true empathy and understanding toward patients. "At Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants we have both an excellent physician and a courteous responsive staff who truly care about their patients' well-being and treat each patient as if they were a member of their own family," says Nola. "They make themselves available for their patients at all times and are there to support and inform their patients through their procedures and follow-up services."

A major factor in winning the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Awards, according to Nola, is the outstanding level of care shown by Dr. Fanelli. "Dr. Andrew Fanelli truly cares about his patients," she says. "He makes himself available, even when away from the office, to speak with patients and is available for any emergencies that may occur. Dr. Fanelli has developed an equally caring staff with a high regard and respect for each patient during times of illness and its natural stresses and who create an environment that puts patients at ease and makes them confident they are taking the right path to good health."

Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants plans on using the award to demonstrate its high level of care to both referring doctors and patients. "In medicine, communication is key, and having this award will help our practice to reach new referring doctors and patients who may be unaware of the positive road to wellness and the excellent level of care in our surgical center," says Nola.

Regional Gastrointestinal Consultants is located at 301 Oxford Valley Road, Suite 804 in Yardley. For more information about the practice and its services, call 215-321-4700.
